A portfolio of flexible, impactful assets

From the ground-based and rooftop towers that facilitate powerful 4G and 5G rollout, to the small cells that boost coverage and capacity in busy areas, our infrastructure has the reach and stability to meet your most demanding and ambitious network requirements.

Macro sites

We deliver critical wireless connectivity through our network of ground-based tower (GBT) sites and rooftop tower (RTT) sites.

Our macro sites extend your coverage, offer flexible capacity and enable fast deployment. We offer two routes to improved macro coverage: colocation and ‘built-to-suit’.

We also offer a number of additional services, from site operation and maintenance, to Fibre-to-the-Site (FTTS), to energy services and power supply management.

Our Services

Colocation

Rent the space you need, on the infrastructure you need, with the equipment and connectivity you need.

Built-to-suit

Extend your network with end-to-end asset creation, tailored to your exact requirements.

Secondary services

Connect your network or business to our world-class energy services and fibre optic backhaul.

Rooftop tower (RTT) sites

Our ground-based towers are capable of delivering high-quality connectivity across vast distances, to remote locations. Our network sharing model increases resource-efficiency, meaning we’re able to increasingly optimise GBT agreements for cost, location and time-to-market.

Our rooftop towers bring fast, reliable and high-quality connectivity to the built-up areas that are driving Europe’s growing data usage demands. RTT sites can be deployed without extensive civil engineering or ground space and shared with other tenants for maximum cost and resource efficiency.

DAS and Small Cell solutions

Meet urban data demand with a suite of network-boosting assets that are discrete, powerful and able to meet specific indoor or outdoor requirements.

Each can be tailored to suit a number of indoor and outdoor environments that you might typically want to reach.

While the setup and components may vary depending on your goals and where you need to deploy them, every solution ensures lightning-fast, low-latency connectivity to our macro layer, wherever and whenever it is needed.

Indoor solutions

From shopping centres to stadiums, office buildings to bank branches

Outdoor solutions

From congested city streets to complex transport networks

Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)

Our DAS solutions are comprised of small networks of antennas, strategically deployed throughout a building.

They work in tandem with our powerful network of macro sites to overcome the key challenges that operators, building owners and local authorities typically face when trying to extend their network:

  • They bring consistent coverage to underground locations such as subway stations and tunnels.
  • They increase capacity in crowded buildings such as airports and sports stadiums.

These systems are best suited to the needs of the busiest and biggest indoor environments - whether you’re a network operator wanting to ensure your customers can stay connected as they move through a busy international airport, or the owner of a sports stadium that hosts tens of thousands of fans at a time.

Small cells

Small cells may be discrete in size but the boost they can bring to your coverage and capacity is anything but. They provide flexible, effective solutions and are a growing presence in urban centres with high data usage demands.

Small cells are less design-intensive than DAS, have lower upfront costs and can be deployed much faster. They’re typically better suited to solving coverage and capacity issues in smaller buildings or via street level installations.

They’re small

While most are the size of a pizza box, individual small cells can be even smaller. This makes them an attractive choice for deployment in areas where limited space or visual impact are key considerations.

Their distribution range can vary
Their distribution range can vary

Some small cells offer a concentrated boost of just a dozen or so metres, while some can cover a few hundred metres. This means they can be placed relatively close to one another.

They require individual backhaul and power

Small cell backhaul can be carried out using either Ethernet or optical fibre connection. As active elements, they also require power.

Our DAS/small cell solutions are crucial to delivering the comprehensive 5G rollout that a truly digital Europe will require – in the complex, urban environments where its often needed the most.
